Anne M. Roman   April 5, 1969 - October 2, 2025               

Anne Marie Roman passed away on October 2, 2025. Her vibrant spirit and boundless love touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Anne is the cherished daughter of Alberta and Paul Roman and the devoted sister and best friend of Paul Roman, Jr. Above all, she was a fiercely dedicated mother to her two children, Samantha and Jake Rucci, who were the heart and soul of her life.
Anne was a woman of remarkable accomplishment and intellect, holding two master’s degrees and achieving great success in her professional endeavors. She was a physical therapist for the Visiting Nursing Association for many years. Her brilliance was matched only by her warmth, as she cultivated countless friendships with her infectious kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty. Anne had a rare gift for making everyone around her feel valued and loved, and her legacy of connection and compassion will endure in the hearts of her many friends.
Her greatest joy and proudest achievement were her children, Samantha and Jake, whom she raised with endless devotion, nurturing their dreams and guiding them with her wisdom and love. Anne’s life was a testament to the power of family, and her love for her children was the cornerstone of everything she did.
Anne is survived by her parents, Paul and Alberta Roman, her brother, Paul Roman, Jr., and her beloved children, Samantha and Jake Rucci. She leaves behind a community of friends who will forever cherish her laughter, her strength, and her radiant spirit.
A memorial will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Wattengel Funeral Home (533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda) from 3 PM to 5 PM. A celebration of Anne’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local homeless shelter, a cause close to Anne’s heart.
Though Anne is no longer with us, her love, light, and legacy will live on in the lives of the so very many she touched. Rest in peace, dear Anne. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
