Hello Lumberjacks! I'm sure most of you have heard the sad news that NT legend George Oleske passed away. "Mr. O" died a couple of months ago after struggling with illness for many years.

The gathering at NTHS summer of 2023 was such a surprise to him, he said he couldn't believe how many people cared; followed by phone calls, letters and visits - always brought a tear to his eye.

Fattey Beer Co. Wurlitzer is hosting a celebration of life for George on Friday, October 18 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Paul Swisher, Greg Opalinski and Mark Monaco from the Dooley Brothers Band will be playing some tunes and telling some George stories. If you are free, come on down and raise a glass to George. He was truly a rebel WITH a cause ...
